What I am here to explain is the importance of prospecting in your MLM opportunity. Prospecting can simply and only be done two ways. The two methods of prospecting in your MLM business are either you are asking or you are being asked. With simplicity , knowledge and understanding, I am going to explain how prospecting came, left and is now back in full force with the power of the internet.
Prospecting is the lifeline of the the network marketing industry. No one would ever sign up or have any information about MLM, if it were not for people prospecting. However, prospecting has evolved. Remember 3-way calls? Remember Hotel rally’s? Remember NO’s? Remember rejection? We’ll I am here today to let you know that those techniques and behaviors are a thing of the past. This industry is going to another level. Moreover, the industry does not care if you do not adapt and make a shift in techniques and mindset about prospecting.
We are entering an era in which you are attracted and or seduced to an opportunity. Looks having nothing to do with it at all may I add. People will be attracted to you offline by your energy and your enthusiasm about life, not a pique interest script. And those online will be attracted to you by the content and significant information you put out there that is worth anything to them. You want leads that are pre-emptive leads, in which people are calling you. Network marketing has been for years an industry ran by millions of people, close to 98%, who know nothing about marketing. Once you learn how to stop prospecting and understand the true essence of marketing your MLM business will far exceed your expectations.
On the other hand, if you decide not to choose the wealth route and remain running a true non-profit organization from the comfort of your living room, surely you will be mad you did. I, myself, for a long time was an evangelist to the traditional style and techniques of multi-level marketing. Prospecting was something I really enjoyed for the laughter more than actually finding out if the person was qualified. I knew what all the leaders lines were and I used them jokingly to recruit at times. Did I have passion? Of course. Did I recruit people into my business? Indeed. But were those same individuals QUALITY people…NO. Prospecting is about to become extinct.
I believe traditional prospecting techniques will be a thing of the past because no one wants to be prospected no longer. See MLM is experiencing rapid growth right now, both online and offline. Regardless, it’s all MLM right? People are being prospected on all levels because they are told that the recession is making everyone a prospect. So what happens? Everyone is being duplicatable and prospecting everyone. Some are getting recruited just because someone jokingly wants to see if they be recruited. Make sure you are on the right side of the computer as this evolution takes place in the industry.
